Professional blogs can be used in many beneficial ways. Blogging is an efficient way to mass communicate to anyone, or it can be limited to just a specific group. Organizations can create blogs for employee use only and can restrict all others from viewing it. These blogs could potentially be used to have employees look at them and get updated about any changes in the company, upcoming events, progress on specific projects, etc.
Companies can set up blogs not only to spread news to employees, but also to customers. Organizations could post blogs that contain information on upcoming sales, new products, or even employment opportunities. Having a blog for customers to follow would give them valuable information that they might not have otherwise easily attained.
Professional blogs can be very beneficial to a business on both sides of the spectrum; businesses can more easily communicate within its organization, and also more effectively advertise to its customers.
